With the excellent weekend weather on our side and a fantastic turn out, it feels right to let the collection of pictures tell the majority of the tale for this one.

Today marks a personal milestone – my first time shooting at Eastern Creek race way, thanks to the friendly invite from Minidisc race division. I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to head out with a great friend of mine – Tommy Trinh and cover the day more so, as an event.

Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised to find the absolute variety which had come out to play. Literally all sorts of cars were present, ranging from JDM to classics, from American muscle to those radical track ready monsters. With the sound of their roaring heavily worked engines on the track, you could actually feel the pure adrenalin pumping.

It was fantastic to spend the day with pure enthusiasts who have a genuine love for their cars and taking them to the absolute limit, in a sensible and controlled fashion. Each car I saw today was thoughtfully built for a purpose which was clearly demonstrated, lap after lap.

Needless to say, I’m obviously hooked and will be out there again in the very near future, so keep and eye out as there’s plenty more track day coverage to come!
